The bank charges a 1 JD monthly fee from your current or saving account when your balance is between 100 -200 JDs , and 2 JD when your balance is less than 100 JDs . Reason behind that charge is to partially compensate the cost of managing such accounts. In addition, we expect this fee to be a sort of incentive for you to inject more funds into your account to exceed 200 JDs and accordingly become eligible to participate in the Saving Account Prizes draw.

In the Account/Account trading, you deal only with the existing money in your accounts; hence you cannot overdraw additional funds from any of your accounts. In the case of Margin Trading, you are given a maximum of additional 30% leverage for short selling currency. Your account will be overdrawn and therefore it will be debited by interest incurred on the overdrawn balance or it will be credited by interest in case you have a surplus in your account.

Sign a contract that enables you to trade in margin. Then you authorize the bank to hold USD 50,000 or equivalent to any other tradable currencies . The withheld amount is considered as a collateral against your margin trading.
