The Housing Bank for Trade & Finance gives special care to training and development programs  to its staff and employees. Such programs aim  to provide  qualified and well-trained human resources capable of adapting to anything new in the baking industry worldwide, therefore, accordingly allowing them to provide superior and unrivaled banking services when compared to other players in the local and Arab markets.

 

The philosophy of training in the bank is represented in:

 

1.       Providing highly qualified human resources to face the latest developments in banking industry and achieving excellence over competitors through high quality trainings .

 

2.       Providing the employees with the necessary skills, knowledge and orientation required for bridging the gaps in performance by comparing the required performance levels with the actual present performance levels.

 

3.       Developing the employees’ skills to streamline and minimize the work procedures, reduce operational costs, improve productivity levels and increase operational efficiency.

 

4.       Participating in building up future leadership to manage the bank.

 

The bank is keen to meet the training needs and requirements of its staff through organizing in-house training courses at the training center of the bank and through sending a number of  employees to take part in the courses organized by local training institutes in addition to participating in conferences and courses organized outside the Kingdom by well known Arab and foreign consultancy and training bodies.

 

Moreover, the bank has also adopted the policy of teaching English language to its employees in order to improve their linguistic skills to enable them to communicate  with foreign customers and to keep them informed of the latest development in banking industry. This will lead to improving the standard of the overall performance in the bank. The bank has also adopted a policy to develop personal computer skills to create a new culture based on electronic environment.  

 

In addition to the above, HBTF has adopted a policy to develop the academic and professional qualifications  for the bank staff in order to improve their academic, professional and technical standards. HBTF has also spread the theoretical and practical banking knowledge among the staff in addition to providing its cadre  with all scientific and professional specialization to meet the work requirements at various sectors and contribute to the development of work techniques and procedures at the bank.

 

The Training Center is located within  HBTF commercial complex building which embodies four training halls equipped with the state-of-the-art audio visual equipment and three special laboratories with the latest computer devices .  The Training Center also has a library that contains the latest banking and financial periodicals and books so as to keep the employees up to date with all   the latest banking practices.
