The Housing Bank sponsored the 7th media competition for breast cancer, organized by King Hussein Cancer Center Foundation, which aims to raise awareness among the public about breast cancer and the importance of men support women in making a decision to do early detection, which contributes to save her life.
On the terms of the competition sponsored by the Housing Bank for the 7th time in a row, the program director Nisreen Katamesh said in the press conference held at Le Meridien Hotel that participants in the competition may apply during three months for one of the media articles dealing with breast cancer. Works published between now and the middle of November offered all print, audio, and visual media, and websites and social networking.
The participation of the Housing Bank of sponsoring this competition comes within the Bank's policy in exercising social role, and interest in the care and support of all targeted activities and programs that reflect the positive effects on the community, especially since this competition contributes effectively to increase the cure rate and reduce treatment costs.
It is worth mentioning that the Housing Bank and within the framework of the exercise of social responsibility, the Bank is always present as a sponsor, supporter and participant of many health, social, sports and cultural events and programs, and it is keen to play this role through cooperation with various public and private institutions and sectors so as to contribute to building bridges of trust and cooperation with different segments of the Jordanian society.
