The Housing Bank, the largest and most widespread bank in Jordan, was the platinum sponsor of the gala event held on 30 September at W Amman Hotel by the Jordan Media Institute (JMI) on the occasion of its 10th anniversary.
The event, held with the presence of HRH Princess Rym Ali, founder of the Jordan Media Institute, was attended by a large crowd of Arab and foreign journalists, including Richard Quest, a CNN International Anchor, and Caroline Faraj, CNN's Vice President of Arabic Services, in addition to members of the Jordanian media.
The Housing Bank's sponsorship of this event comes in line with its commitment to promote sustainable economic development in Jordan, as well as directly contribute to the country's educational and media sectors. The Housing Bank has been one of the main supporters of the Jordan Media Institute (JMI) since its establishment.
The Housing Bank's CEO, Ammar Al-Safadi, has praised the role of the Jordan Media Institute (JMI), under the leadership of HRH Princess Rym Ali, in raising journalism standards in Jordan and the Arab region by empowering its graduates with the skills, knowledge and expertise to excel in the region's unique media environment, while meeting the highest international standards.
"The Housing Bank reiterates its support to free and professional journalism in particular, and the educational sector in Jordan, in general, as a cornerstone of community development and a way to build a better future, as it fosters innovation and creativity and supports entrepreneurship and technological advancement," Al-Safadi said.
